Premier Pneumatics - Positive Displacement Blowers
Selecting the right blower that operates at the
correct speed is critical to the success of any pneumatic conveying
system. At Premier, we supply a wide range of quality blower
packages for continuous pressure systems.

Pressure Blower
Vacuum Blower
With blowers for 2-inch to 10-inch conveying systems, our system
designers can select a blower that is specifically tailored to
respond efficiently for your application. Each blower is supported
by a heavy-duty base, features an industry-proven blower and motor
and includes numerous built-in safeguards to protect blower life.
Optional
features
After-coolers (to
reduce the blower’s outlet temperature in applications handling
heat-sensitive materials), motors for explosion-proof applications
or special voltage requirements, and other special options are
available to tailor our blowers to your specific application.

Series 2400 Blowers
The Series2400 vacuum blower is
specifically designed for use with our Series 2400
receivers. It is controlled by the microprocessor that
commands the entire Series 2400 system, and includes a
vacuum breaker valve to accommodate the Series 2400’s
continuous sequencing conveying.
Included in each blower package is a positive displacement
blower and TEFC motor; a totally enclosed belt drive guard;
an air-actuated vacuum breaker valve; a spring loaded
back-up vacuum relief valve; a large vacuum gauge and an
outlet silencer.
Industry-proven
blower and motor
All Series
2400 blowers incorporate an industry proven positive
displacement blower and TEFC motor for dependable service.
The blower is dynamically balanced, and isolation pads are
positioned between the blower and the base to reduce
vibration and noise. To promote longer blower life and give
some room for field adjustments, our standard design
procedure is to select a blower that will meet the
requirements of the system operating at 75-80% of capacity.
Vacuum
breaker and relief valves
A vacuum
breaker valve is included with each Series 2400 blower to
accommodate the continuous sequencing conveying of the
Series 2400 conveying system. While material is being
conveyed, the vacuum breaker valve remains closed to allow
material to be conveyed from the source to the receiver.
While the blower is idling between call signals it opens
automatically, letting outside air to be drawn in to avoid a
“dead head” condition. A vacuum relief valve is also
standard to protect the blower from damage caused by
above-normal operating pressure and to eliminate a “dead
head” condition should the vacuum breaker valve fail.
